At Vine to Bar, sustainability starts with intention. Our raw ingredient - up-cycled Chardonnay grapes, called WellVine™ - is the result of years of experimentation, vineyard management, and process refinement. We've developed a system that gives new life to what was once discarded, creating a circular solution rooted in innovation.

Sustainable Sourcing

We source exclusively from the cool coastal vineyards of Jackson Family Wines, a global leader in sustainable winemaking. With 100% of their estate vineyards and wineries certified sustainable, they’re setting the benchmark for climate-conscious viticulture.

After pressing, we upcycle the remaining skins, seeds, and stems—known as marc—by gently drying and milling them to preserve their natural bioactives. This upcycling approach allows us to reduce waste while retaining the natural nutritional value of the grape.

The result: Vine To Bar Chocolate with WellVine™

Our final product: healthy dark chocolate that supports gut, metabolic, and cardiovascular health. It’s minimally processed, rich in fiber and polyphenols, and designed to deliver both wellness and sustainability in every serving. And it's delicious thanks to the natural sweetness of the upcycled grapes!

We take it a step further by following a true zero-waste approach: by drying and milling the entire edible portion of the grape after pressing—nothing is discarded or separated.

This whole-food process maximizes nutrition and eliminates secondary waste streams, ensuring every part of the grape is put to good use.
